PNF Stretching

PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) Stretching is an advanced, science-based flexibility technique designed to improve range of motion, mobility, and muscular performance by combining targeted stretching with controlled muscle contractions. Originally developed for neurological rehabilitation, PNF is now widely used in sports therapy, physical rehabilitation, and performance training.

Our one-on-one assisted stretching sessions use the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) method to help you achieve maximum flexibility and mobility gains. The practitioner will position your body into a stretch, then guide you to contract specific muscles for a few seconds before releasing into a deeper stretch. This method is performed fully clothed and works by engaging your nervous system to release tension and allow for deeper and safer enhanced flexibility.

This form of stretching is done over your clothing, making it convenient and comfortable. Clients are asked to wear activewear such as shorts, sweatpants, and a t-shirt for ease of movement.
